The Open Scroll - The Upcoming Mark of the Beast

The Upcoming Mark of the Beast

By Bob Schlenker  (Prints about 4 pages)

Then I saw another beast, coming out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon. 12 He exercised all the authority of the first beast on his behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. 13 And he performed great and miraculous signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to earth in full view of men. 14 Because of the signs he was given power to do on behalf of the first beast, he deceived the inhabitants of the earth. He ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. 15 He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. 16 He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, 17 so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. 18 This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666. Revelation 13:11-18
The number given in the NIV as 666 is derived from the three Greek letters chi xi stigma. According to Strong's dictionary:  khee xee stig'-ma; the 22d, 14th and an obsol. letter (G4742 as a cross) of the Greek alphabet (intermediate between the 5th and 6th), used as numbers; denoting respectively 600, 60 and 6; 666 as a numeral:--six hundred threescore and six.

The three letters in succession have the mathematical values 600, 60 and 6, which added together sum to what we represent as the numeral 666.
The word with the value of 6 is very key to understanding the nature of man's number, who was created on the sixth day. Strong's #G4742 stigma, stig'-mah; from a prim. stizo (to "stick", i.e. prick); a mark incised or punched (for recognition of ownership), i.e. (fig.) scar of service:--mark.

The word for "mark" in verse 16 and 17 is Strong's #5480. charagma, khar'-ag-mah; from the same as G5482; a scratch or etching, i.e. stamp (as a badge of servitude), or sculptured figure (statue):--graven, mark.

For a few years now, there have been various technologies being implemented for marking animals and people for recognition. They are implantable bio-chips with various levels of capability, injected or inserted under the skin. They are programmed (embedded or "engraved") with software instructions to perform various functions. No doubt, one of the next generations of these handy little devices will solve many a problem we struggle with in these days of maximum convenience and efficiency and threats to our security and survival. What a welcome e-gadget this will be! You'll hardly be able to live without it! But, be forewarned, for according to the word of the Lord, there are consequences which, when weighed, are worse than death.
A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: "If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, 10 he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name." 12 This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God's commandments and remain faithful to Jesus.  Revelation 14:9-12
Some of you who will read this page will be presented with the decision whether or not to accept the mark and worship of the beast. Unless you take matters such as this to heart and become willing to serve the Lord Jesus even unto death, this may become your end and undoing. This is not a scare tactic, just the truth. Written with love.

APPLIED DIGITAL SOLUTIONS ACQUIRES RIGHTS
TO WORLD'S FIRST DIGITAL DEVICE -- IMPLANTABLE IN HUMANS -
WITH APPLICATIONS IN E-BUSINESS TO BUSINESS SECURITY,
HEALTH CARE AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE
Inserted just under the skin, with maintenance-free regenerating power supply, miniature "Digital Angel™" has multi-billion dollar market potential

Special Report
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, DECEMBER 15, 1999 -- Applied Digital Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ:ADSX) today announced that it has acquired the patent rights to a miniature digital transceiver - which it has named "Digital Angel™" -- that can be used for a variety of purposes, such as providing a tamper-proof means of identification for enhanced e-business security, locating lost or missing individuals, tracking the location of valuable property and monitoring the medical conditions of at-risk patients.

In the agreement signed last week, ADS acquired the right to develop this unique product itself for all of its applications or to sublicense the development of specific applications to other entities. A special technology group has been formed within ADS to supervise the development of the device.

The implantable transceiver sends and receives data and can be continuously tracked by GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) technology. The transceiver's power supply and actuation system are unlike anything ever created. When implanted within a body, the device is powered electromechanically through the movement of muscles, and it can be activated either by the "wearer" or by the monitoring facility. A novel sensation feedback feature will even allow the wearer to control the device to some degree. The "smart" device is also small enough to be hidden inconspicuously on or within valuable personal belongings and priceless works of art.

Commenting on Digital Angel's™ many potential applications, Richard J. Sullivan, Chairman and CEO of Applied Digital Solutions, Inc. (ADS), said: "We believe its potential for improving individual and e-business security and enhancing the quality of life for millions of people is virtually limitless. Although we're in the early developmental phase, we expect to come forward with applications in many different areas, from medical monitoring to law enforcement. However, in keeping with our core strengths in the e-business to business arena, we plan to focus our initial development efforts on the growing field of e-commerce security and user ID verification."

Sullivan added that the multi-purpose technology would enable ADS to tap into a vast global market, through licensing and other commercial arrangements, with an estimated total value in excess of $100 billion. "The e-business to business security market alone could reach as high as $10 to $12 billion in the near future," Sullivan added.

ADS is actively seeking joint venture partners to help develop and market the unique technology. The company expects to create a working prototype by the end of next year.

BACKGROUND AND TECHNICAL ABSTRACT

Digital Angel™
E-Business Security, Emergency Location and Medical Monitoring

Background

On May 13, 1997, United States Patent Number 5,629,678 was granted for a "personal tracking and recovery system," consisting of a miniature digital transceiver -- implantable in humans -- with a built-in, electromechanical power supply and actuation system. These features enable the device to remain implanted and functional for years without maintenance. This transceiver sends and receives data and can be continuously tracked by Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) technology.

On December 10, 1999, Applied Digital Solutions, Inc. (ADS) acquired the patent rights to this technology, which the company refers to as "Digital Angel™." The agreement gives ADS the right to develop this unique product for all of its applications or to sublicense the development of specific applications to other entities. ADS is actively seeking joint venture partners to develop and market this technology. We expect to produce a prototype of the device by the end of 2000. We believe the potential global market for this device - in all of its applications -- could exceed $100 billion.

Limitations of Competing Technologies

While a number of other tracking and monitoring technologies have been patented and marketed in the past, they are all unsuitable for the widespread tracking, recovery and identification of people due to a variety of limitations, including unwieldy size, maintenance requirements, insufficient or inconvenient power-supply and activation difficulties. For the first time in the history of location and monitoring technology, Digital Angel™ overcomes these limitations.

Basic Features and Potential Uses of Digital ™

The Digital Angel™ transceiver can be implanted just under the skin or hidden inconspicuously on or within valuable personal belongings and priceless works of art. When implanted within the human body, the transceiver is powered electromechanically through the movement of muscles. It can be activated either by the "wearer" or by a remote monitoring facility. The device also can monitor certain biological functions of the human body - such as heart rate - and send a distress signal to a monitoring facility when it detects a medical emergency.

Although still in the early developmental stage, we believe Digital Angel™ could have an array of beneficial potential applications: provide a tamper-proof means of locating and identifying individuals for e-business and e-commerce security; locate individuals, including children, who are lost or who have been abducted; monitor the medical conditions of at-risk patients; track and locate military, diplomatic and other essential government personnel; determine the location or the authenticity of valuable property; track the whereabouts of wilderness sports enthusiasts (mountain climbers, hikers, skiers, etc.).

When the marking technology comes into view, the coming of the beasts from out of the sea and from out of the earth are not far off!

It has sometimes been asked whether,  having received the mark, it may be removed. I believe the answer is yes, based upon the following passage. The word of God is written in such a way that expressions usually thought to be merely figurative actually have a literal application according to prophetic symbolism.
"You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.' 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell. 31 "It has been said, 'Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.' 32 But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.  Matthew 5:27-32
What part of your body might actually cause your whole body to go to hell but that part in which the mark has been received. Retinal scanners are already in use today, and a microchip in the right hand technology has now arrived. The relationship with the beast and the whore of Babylon is as idolatry which is spiritual adultery.  To give her a certificate of divorce you would have to divorce yourself from the biometric mark - body part and all if necessary.  The temptation to save your life when you have the mark will be too great and will cause the whole body to go into hell. Should this come to mind at such a time that you have discovered you have the mark, remove it. Divorce the woman seen sitting on the scarlet beast, Mystery Babylon.
